On April 1st 2015 TANG Yinshan, the vice-Dean of the University of Reading’s Henley Business School visited the College of Foreign Studies and met with college leaders and student delegates.
In the morning, Dr TANG participated in a symposium, together with the college’s party secretary, professor HAN Jiqin, the deputy party secretary Ms. DONG Hongmei, vice-dean Ms. CAO Xinyu, and Counsellor Ms. XU Wen. Party secretary HAN also extended an offer to teachers of the Henley Business School to visit our college to teach. The symposium saw both parties agree on the details of their future cooperation, such as curriculum provisions and shared teaching. It also laid the foundations for further cooperation between the two institutions.
Following the symposium, Dr TANG met with students from our college wishing to study abroad. He also discussed the curriculum provisions and the project application formalities of the “4+1” project, as well as matters concerning studying abroad. He kindly answered students’ questions in detail, and shared his recollections of studying and working in theUK.
