Prof. Wang Yinquan Wins the Second Prize in Educational Scientific Research in Jiangsu Province

A review of some problems in China's foreign language education from the perspective of national strategy, a research paper by Prof. Wang has won the second prize in the Jiangsu Province Educational Scientific Research Achievement Award (education research category) in 2016.

This achievement is for a paper with the same name, containing 22,000 characters, issued by Prof. Wang in the second issue of 2013 in China’s Foreign Language Journal, an authoritative Journal, which systematically and comprehensively summarizes the main ten problems of English education in our country and analyzes these deep problems. It also discusses foreign language education strategic planning and foreign language teaching reform, the core of which corresponds to English Bachelor Education Quality National Standards and College English Teaching Guidance.

In 2016 in Jiangsu Province, there have been 699 achievements in all in Education and Science Research. Among them, the number of first prizes is 59, second prizes is 200, and third prizes is 440. Ten achievements of our University were awarded as Jiangsu Education Scientific Research Results (philosophy and social scientific research in University), 3 achievements were awarded as Jiangsu Scientific Education (education research), among which there were one first prize and two second prizes.

The goals of Jiangsu Education Scientific Research Achievements are to fully implement education policies and to better stimulate enthusiasm of scientific researchers in the education system in Jiangsu Province. The prizes are set up to promote high-quality scientific research findingsand to improve the quality of the Jiangsu education system scientific research academic influence.
